At OISK, CBC is driven by practical, hands-on student-centered learning, paced at the learner’s capabilities, to instill knowledge that a pupil can in future apply to real life environments. We aim to provide a solid foundation to assist pupils to think critically, explore, and build self-self-worth.

OISK offers a diversity of learning programs and experiences based on the 2-6-6-3 Kenya Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) to prepare pupils for the National CBC exams conducted at Grade 3, 6, and 9.

We instill on learners the following CBC core competencies: Communication and Collaboration, Critical thinking and Problem solving, Creativity and Imagination, Citizenship, Digital literacy, Learning to learn, and Self-worth
